Michigan (10-10) led at the half and managed to play a see-saw style of game with the Spartans, until Kalin Lucas hit a clutch jumper with under 10 seconds left in the game.

Michigan State out-rebounded the Wolverines 38-22 while shooting 49% from the field. Despite a turnover margin of -14, the Spartans held Michigan to another poor performance from three-point range (7-29, 24%).

The Spartans are now 8-0 in Big-Ten play and will face Northwestern this Saturday at the Breslin Center.
